Annet Adong
Director
Annet Adong holds a Ph.D in Development/Agriculture Economics from the University of Bonn. Annet specializes in Agriculture, Conflicts and Forces displacements. She explored the Consequences of Armed Conflicts and Forced Displacements on consumption pathways and Social preferences for her Ph.D.
Diversity of Experiences
In her other research, she explored the constraints to the adoption of inorganic fertilizer in Uganda using a Randomized Control Trial. Annet was previously a Research Analyst at Economic Policy Research Center in Uganda and has consulted for institutions such as the Food and Agriculture Organization, the International Food Policy Research Institute and the World Bank. She holds a Masters in Development and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Life Sciences Norway and a BSc in Agriculture Economics from Makerere University Uganda.
In the IEED project, Annet leads the team in the Generation of the Evidence Gap Maps in Health, Education and Agriculture and has previously conducted a systematic review on whether adaptation strategies to climate change impact on food and nutrition security in Sub Saharan Africa.
